The MaxCorr™ Process

The MaxCorr™ process

The MaxCorr™ process is TGG’s patented method for manufacturing high-strength corrugate assemblies. It is the technology behind every product we license, including TuffCorr™ pallets, TuffTote™ combo totes, and RollStringer™ supports.

Licensed producers run the MaxCorr™ process inside their own corrugate operations, so strong, recyclable products can be made close to the customer, from board they already know how to buy and convert.

How it works

  1. Configured to load

Board grade and component sizing are set per requirement, so the same process covers standard and custom sizes.

  2. Sheet-level components

    Standard corrugate & die cut

Components start as standard corrugated sheet and die-cut parts.

  3. Build sub-assemblies

Components are laminated into structural sub-assemblies such as stringers and decks.

  4. Build final assemblies

Decks, stringers, and base components are joined as a finished unit.

What it means for producers

  • Runs alongside existing corrugate converting, with custom equipment that scales with capacity. A typical starting setup has two production areas, one for sub-assemblies and one for final assembly, and lines scale by adding shifts or stations.
  • One process supports a range of licensed products and custom sizes, so one operation can serve more customers
  • Consistent, repeatable assembly steps across models, for predictable quality
  • Automation friendly. Both the sub-assembly and final assembly steps lend themselves to machine automation, so producers can automate as volume grows, with consistent output and less manual handling.
  • Training, technical support, and product specs from TGG

What it means for end users

  • Strong. Tested to 35,000 lbs. static load by an ASTM-certified laboratory under ASTM D1185, the standard test methods for pallets. Adjustable to the application.
  • Lightweight. Up to 75% lighter than wood, which improves fuel use, freight cost, or product per load.
  • Safe. No nails, slivers, splinters, or broken boards, for improved personnel safety and lower product damage.
  • Customizable. Non-standard sizes without a labor or process penalty, which saves space and costs.
  • Recyclable. 100% recyclable, repulpable, and resalable.
  • Export. Exempt from ISPM-15 heat-treatment rules, so loads can ship overseas without heat treatment.

Protected technology

The MaxCorr™ process is patented, with additional patents and patent-pending designs covering licensed products. Licensing gives producers access to that protected technology without having to invent it.
